ASPC wins green industry’s “gold” award for 3th consecutive year.

Following its last two year’s success in receiving a “silver” and “gold” awards respectively in the 18th and 19th National Congress on Green Industrial and Service Units, Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC) have succeeded to win the prestigious “gold” award receiving the title of the “best company in green industry”.
The 20th National Congress on Green Industrial and Service Units was held here in Tehran at the venue of the Department of Environment (DOE) on 22 January with the participation of Iran’s Head of DOE Isa Kalantari, representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Iran (UNIDO), and a great number of high-ranking officials and directors active in the fields of industry, oil, and environment.
Companies participating in the congress had proven capabilities in improving air quality and controlling air pollution, recycling and waste management, as well as demonstrating activities in green space and energy savings.
Accordingly, 13 industrial companies including Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC) and 4 service units have succeeded to receive the “gold” award of this years’ congress. 66 industrial companies and 11 service units have gotten the “silver” award of this round as well. Also, 4 industrial companies including ASPC and 4 service units have succeeded to receive the “gold” award in last year and also ASPC have succeeded to receive the “Silver” award on 2016.
Organized by the DOE, UNIDO and GIZ (the German Society for International Cooperation), the national congress is held annually in February to protect the environment, enhance “environmental culture”, and promote closer cooperation among the three entities and participants in line with reducing and controlling air pollutants in a competitive atmosphere.
