Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC) participated, for the first time, in the Iran Plast International Exhibition which was also attended by large companies from 15 countries around the globe, such as Belgium, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Austria, Serbia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Thailand, Cyprus, Turkey, China, Taiwan, and South Korea.
Under the theme of “Blooming the global business of the plastic industry”, the 12th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held with the participation of ASPC and over 650 large national and international companies at the Tehran Permanent International Fairground from September 24 to 27, 2018.
The event aimed at making industrialists and manufacturers familiar with the latest technologies and achievements in the international level, introducing the newest products and advancements of the companies. The event also aimed at establishing direct and multilateral links between major domestic and foreign suppliers and manufacturers with an eye to thriving the domestic plastic industry as well as facilitating the trend of global marketing and the presence of the country’s plastic industry in the global markets.
With an annual production capacity of more than one and half million tons of ethylene and polyethylene (high, low, and medium), ASPC participated in this edition of the Iran Plast International Exhibition to in order to introduce its latest products and achievements, identify new target markets for the products, and expand commercial ties in line with the aim of branding in the international markets.
As one of the best petrochemical companies in the Middle East in terms of HSE, ASPC has so far received several gold statues and awards in the fields of “energy management”, “national brand and national sovereignty”, and “the green industry”, as well as Iran-EMA trophies. The company, as the first Iranian company, also succeeded to win a prestigious Sword of Honor and Globe of Honor from the British Safety Council (BSC) in 2017.
The Iran Plast International Exhibition has been held every year since 2002 under the auspices of the National Iranian Petrochemical Company in the four fields; raw materials; finished and semi-finished products; machineries, equipment and auxiliaries; and services for plastics and rubber industries.
