ASPC Distributes Relief Packages on Eve of Eid al-Fitr

On the eve of Eid al-Fitr, the Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC) distributed relief packages among beneficiaries of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee in the villages of the Nayband region, Assaluyeh county.

The packages were handed out on April 17th 1402 – the eve of Eid al-Fitr – with the presence of ASPC’s executive director and other senior management with collaboration from the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee.

Speaking during an event where the packages were distributed in the Haleh, Basatin, Safiyeh, Zobar, Banood, Kherreh, Bushehr and Konar Kheymeh villages, Ali Jafari – head of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee of the Assaluyeh county – pointed that his organization provides for 1,800 families in the county. “In the Nayband district, which is an impoverished area, 300 families are covered by the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee of the Assaluyeh county. These families are assisted by ASPC management on various occasions. The ASPC has done so as part of its social responsibilities program. Moreover, the ASPC has symbolically distributed relief packages in the Haleh village and has provided the Relief Committee with more than 500 packages for further distribution,” Jafari said.

Adding that the Relief Committee provides 52 different types of services, Jafari went on to say that his organization is “asking other companies in Assaluyeh to assist, so that we can meet the needs of those who require help. This is in line with guidelines of the Supreme Leader in the field of empowering people under the protection of the Imam Khomeini relief committee”.

Ahmad Sayadi, Haleh village chief, also expressed his appreciation for the ASPC’s services for impoverished populations covered under the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee in the Nayband district. “We appreciate ASPC management for speeding up the progress of the sports hall project in Haleh village. This project, which is one of the most important needs of the village’s youth, should be implemented as soon as possible,” he said.

It should be noted that the ASPC is one of the country’s leading companies in the fields of social responsibilities and environment protection, taking effective steps in recent years by spending significant resources and adopting distinctive measures for the achievement of sustainable development. In September 2022, the ASPC was awarded the Hatef National Award at the 5th National Summit of Social Responsibility and Organizational Culture, achieving 1st place in adhering to social responsibilities.
