ASPC Set to Break all Previous Production Records this Year

Managers, employees and workers excelling in increased production rates in the past year were granted awards signed by Iran’s Oil Ministry during a ceremony held for the occasion. The event was held in the country’s South Pars Special Economic Zone on April 17, 2023.

Speaking at the event, Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC) Executive Director Mohammad-Reza Heidarzadeh said: “Focusing on the objectives set by the Supreme Leader of Iran, we established the ASPC’s Innovation & Knowledge-Enterprise Center. Owing to the resolve of our colleagues at the ASPC, we were able to indigenize existing experience and knowledge in the company and hence, commence commercializing it”.

Referring to the ASPC’s cooperation with certain Middle Eastern countries with the objective of knowledge transfer, Heidarzadeh said: “We have sought that other industrial companies also benefit from this knowledge by pursuing the indigenization and commercialization of up-to-date knowledge in the Innovation & Knowledge-Enterprise Center”. Heidarzadeh also stressed the necessity of employing a young talented workforce in order to achieve technical growth and expand start-up assets with the objective of production growth. “We hope that other companies will also adopt expansion projects, just as the ASPC excels in the field of production, development and profitability,” he said.

Referring to Iran’s slogan of the year – “Production Growth and Inflation Control” – Heidarzadeh said: “In his speeches, the Supreme Leader considers it necessary to identify and remove production obstacles. It is hence that we shall seek to break all of the ASPC’s past production records. With the determination of our colleagues, we will plan and seek the full enactment of various development projects.”

Speaking about the inauguration of two development projects in the ASPC, the ASPC executive director added: “The construction of the C3+ separation unit and the new MD/HD unit with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes next year will increase the company’s profitability by $110 million”.

At the end of the ceremony, leading South Pars Special Economic Zone managers, employees and workers were honored for their role in production growth with a certificate of appreciation signed by the oil minister. Engineer Saeed Esmaili and Zargham Behrouzi, respectively director and deputy director of the ASPC complex, also received certificates of appreciation in the conference.
