Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC) has succeeded in receiving the national certificate for observing consumer rights at the 18th conference on National Day of Observing Consumer Rights.
According to the public relations department of Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC), the 18th conference on National Day of Observing Consumer Rights was held at the Tehran Permanent International Fairground on Sunday (May 5, 2019) with the participation of Reza Rahmani, the minister of industry, mining, and trade, Abbas Tabesh, the deputy industry, mining, and trade minister who is also the head of Organization for Observing Rights of Consumers and Producers, Majid Arghandeh Pour, the secretary of the council for policy making and holding the conference on National Day of Observing Consumer Rights, a number of parliament members, high-ranking officials from industrial and economic sectors, and managing directors of production companies from all over the country.
During this year’s edition of the conference, 545 companies active in different fields of industry and economy (metal and non-metal, mineral, service, agricultural, healthcare, and medical) were registered. In the first phase of assessment, some 250 companies were accepted and in the final phase 91 companies, economic enterprises, and production units were selected by the technical committee and the assessment higher council.
They were assessed based on seven general indices (e.g. assessment and evaluation of production units, satisfaction of customers, quality of goods and services, fair prices, distribution and after sales services, having market for goods or services and agency in 10 or more provinces of the country, and production rate of at least 70% of nominal capacity) for receiving the national certificate. Meanwhile, they were assessed based on six general indices (e.g. assessment and evaluation of production units, receiving the national certificate in 2 consecutive or three non-consecutive years, achieving 90% or higher consumer satisfaction, having market for goods or services and agency in at least 20 provinces of the country) for receiving the national statute (golden, silver, and bronze). Finally, 51 economic enterprises managed to win the national statute and 40 companies succeeded in receiving the national certificate for observing consumer rights.
According to the secretariat of the conference, 16 companies won the golden statute, 26 companies won the silver statute, 9 companies won the bronze statute, and 40 companies, including Arya Sasol polymer Company (ASPC) received the national certificate for observing consumer rights in this edition of the conference. ASPC had also received the national certificate for observing consumer rights over the past two years.
The first edition of the conference on National Day of Observing Consumer Rights was held on February 28, 2002. The event is held annually by the Organization for Observing Rights of Consumers and Producers on the occasion of National Day of Observing Consumer Rights which has been registered on the Iranian calendar. The conference is held annually with the collaboration of ministries of industry, mining, and trade; finance and economic affairs; health; cooperatives, labor, and social welfare; agriculture; as well as the national organization for standards; Iran’s central bank; Iran’s chamber of commerce, industries, and mines, and agriculture; the Trade Promotion Organization; the Planning and Budget Organization, and the national society for observing consumer rights.
